Training Plan: Beginning Advanced
With Beginning Advanced, Alexandra Harfield designed a 7-Part Training Plan which helps you to deepen your understanding of your own body, but also brings what you may have thought to be a bit out of our reach a little closer.
You will focus on six poses. Each pose has a unique stepping-stone sequence that combines traditional yoga poses, strength and stability work as well as functional mobility movements that weave together everything you need to work towards the pose.
Each class is balanced so it can be done at any given time as well as moving through the plan in order. The final class in this training plan combines all six poses together giving you an opportunity to experience how they can work together in one sequence.
You are unique, so the way you practice needs to reflect that. Being advanced in your yoga practice is all about the pathway, all about the journey, and who you are in the poses you practice. Enjoy the process, stay connected to the breath, and reminding yourself as often as you can how amazing you are!
