Building to Standing Figure 4: 45mins
This balancing posture is full of different layers. As well as balancing on a bent leg, we are asking a lot of our hips as we find the depth of rotation and flexion needed to fold in the pose. This is a great practise to focus on the lower body, creating space and more awareness in the hips and legs. Working on this pose and understanding the process, is also a great preparation if you would like to work towards Galavasana or your Grasshopper.
